More Disney & Universal Studios FUN!

I hope you enjoy these pictures of our Orlando trip. Most of them are Lloyd with Uncle Brian and Aunt Chireen. He loved getting Brian to ride most of the rides. . .unless of course it was a water ride, then I was "lucky" chaperone! Anyways, we had a wonderful time. . .Enjoy!

Orlando. . .Here We Come

While we were back home (Georgia-that is), Mimi and Grampy took us to Orlando, Fl. We are so fortunate to have been able to enjoy this time with them. We had a wonderful time in Orlando. We visited Disney World, Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios while we were there. Living in California, we've been lucky enough to visit Disney Land and Universal Studios, Hollywood; but hands down, we agree that Orlando puts that to shame! There are so many different rides to enjoy~thanks Mimi, Grampy, and Aunt Chireen for letting us enjoy this great time. Lloyd enjoyed meeting many of the characters and having his picture made with some. The weather was cooler than we had hoped for, but Lloyd still enjoyed getting me wet on the water rides! BRRR!! I'm so blessed to have been able to have this time with him, and yes, we missed you Daddy.

Lloyd had a blast with his Mimi, Grampy, Uncle Brian and Aunt Chireen, and I am so proud that he got to make these "magical" memories with them. I had fun riding the "HULK" roller coaster with Brian and Dad~which I admit that I kept my eyes closed the ENTIRE ride, but non-the-less they got a kick out of my fear!

I can't believe it. . .my little (yet much taller!) brother, Brian just got married!! Lil' Lloyd and I flew to Georgia to take part in the festivities. Unfortunately, Lloyd wasn't able to join us like we had planned. Because, they were married in Athens, Ga we stayed there all weekend. It was nice to be back in my college town to celebrate. For the rehearsal dinner, we went to a great sushi bar and the whole wedding party had a blast singing karaoke!! The wedding was very elegant and quite cold, but it was great to see family and friends that I haven't seen in years. The wedding is officially over and I am so fortunate to have been able to be here for this special occassion. My brother married a beautiful person, inside and out, and I'm glad to call her my sister! Welcome to the family, Chireen!!

It's A Wedding!

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was a little more festive than most. For starters, I turned the BIG 3-0! That's right, I'm officially 30yrs. old. To celebrate, we planned a small costume party and invited a few friends over. The biggest surprise was that my Mom flew in from GA to celebrate with us~thanks Mom! We all dressed up and took lil Lloyd trick-or-treating. Once we were back home the fun began. Happy Halloween!!

Pumpkin Patch

Here's some pictures from our trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We're so lucky to have a friend who has a SPECTACULAR Pumpkin Patch in Temecula. Lloyd had a blast running thru the corn maze (and trying to lose me I might add) as well as riding the train. He picked out a "family" of pumpkins to carve. He wasn't' too keen on the idea of riding the ponies or the petting zoo, but he loved watching the pig race! He was a good sport and posed for me to take his picture several times. Thanks Peltzer's Pumpkin Patch for a great time!!

Southern California Fair

My girlfriend Brandi and I are always trying to think of fun, inexpensive things to do with our boys. Usually we'll go to the $2 movies or just hang out at one of our houses, but this past weekend we decided to go to the fair. Lloyd and Blake had a blast! It was the first time for both of them getting to enjoy the fair. Despite some of the "creepy" workers, Brandi and I loved watching the boys making new memories that hopefully they will cherish forever. Lloyd felt a little sick to his stomach after riding "Dizzy Dragons," but besides that he was fine. Brandi and I decided that the boys must've slid down the giant slide at least 20+ times!!! I'm so glad that Lloyd got to experience the fair and we cannot wait until next year to go again.

Our First Blog~

WOW!!! We've finally entered the world of blogging. I've seen my childhood best friend, Erin's blog and decided that its the thing to do. Now all of our family & friends, which happens to be spread across the country, can see what we've been up too. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with things on here, so please bare with me. . .

To catch everyone up to speed: Lloyd works in RV sales and does very well I might add; I love my job as a children's social worker; and little Lloyd is in the First grade~and loves anything that requires extreme energy. We spend most of our time working and managing everyday life. To relax and get away, we enjoy hanging out in our backyard, going to the river, and going to the desert.
