Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was a little more festive than most. For starters, I turned the BIG 3-0! That's right, I'm officially 30yrs. old. To celebrate, we planned a small costume party and invited a few friends over. The biggest surprise was that my Mom flew in from GA to celebrate with us~thanks Mom! We all dressed up and took lil Lloyd trick-or-treating. Once we were back home the fun began. Happy Halloween!!

Pumpkin Patch

Here's some pictures from our trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We're so lucky to have a friend who has a SPECTACULAR Pumpkin Patch in Temecula. Lloyd had a blast running thru the corn maze (and trying to lose me I might add) as well as riding the train. He picked out a "family" of pumpkins to carve. He wasn't' too keen on the idea of riding the ponies or the petting zoo, but he loved watching the pig race! He was a good sport and posed for me to take his picture several times. Thanks Peltzer's Pumpkin Patch for a great time!!

Southern California Fair

My girlfriend Brandi and I are always trying to think of fun, inexpensive things to do with our boys. Usually we'll go to the $2 movies or just hang out at one of our houses, but this past weekend we decided to go to the fair. Lloyd and Blake had a blast! It was the first time for both of them getting to enjoy the fair. Despite some of the "creepy" workers, Brandi and I loved watching the boys making new memories that hopefully they will cherish forever. Lloyd felt a little sick to his stomach after riding "Dizzy Dragons," but besides that he was fine. Brandi and I decided that the boys must've slid down the giant slide at least 20+ times!!! I'm so glad that Lloyd got to experience the fair and we cannot wait until next year to go again.

Our First Blog~

WOW!!! We've finally entered the world of blogging. I've seen my childhood best friend, Erin's blog and decided that its the thing to do. Now all of our family & friends, which happens to be spread across the country, can see what we've been up too. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with things on here, so please bare with me. . .

To catch everyone up to speed: Lloyd works in RV sales and does very well I might add; I love my job as a children's social worker; and little Lloyd is in the First grade~and loves anything that requires extreme energy. We spend most of our time working and managing everyday life. To relax and get away, we enjoy hanging out in our backyard, going to the river, and going to the desert.
